Originally from North Carolina, Cox’s father blasted Conway Twitty records while his mother toured the southeast with her band, and his seven sisters ensured he had a healthy dose of pop music. In 2016, Cox moved to Nashville. His journey from small-town football star to Nashville artist demonstrates his unique ability to bridge seemingly opposite worlds: athletics and arts, rural and urban, traditional and progressive. Cox delivers stadium-ready anthems powered by country storytelling and polished pop production. In 2021, he met radio & television personality Bobby Bones, who loved his hustle and invited Cox on his show.
